Kevin R. Hill, Esq. has been serving as a Family Magistrate on the St. Mary’s County Circuit Court, 7th Judicial Circuit, since November 2020. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from St. Mary’s College and his Juris Doctor from the University of the District of Columbia, David A. Clarke School of Law. Before his judicial appointment, he worked as an Assistant State’s Attorney in St. Mary’s County, where he supervised the Child Support Division and was a prosecutor for the St. Mary’s County Substance Abuse Court. He also served as a law clerk to the Hon. Robert C. Nalley with the Charles County Circuit Court and worked as an Assistant Public Defender.

Judge Hill has been actively involved in several legal and community organizations, including serving on the Peer Review Committee appointed by the Attorney Grievance Commission of Maryland in 2020. His dedication to public service and legal excellence has made him a respected and influential figure in the Maryland judiciary.
