Hon. Tiffany H. Anderson, Esq.

Hon. Tiffany H. Anderson, Esq. has been serving as an Associate Judge on the Prince George’s County Circuit Court, 7th Judicial Circuit, since December 12, 2016. She was born in California in 1970. Judge Anderson earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of California, San Diego in 1992, and her Juris Doctor from the Columbus School of Law, The Catholic University of America, in 1997. She was admitted to the Maryland Bar in 1997, the U.S. District Court of Maryland in 1998, and the U.S. Supreme Court in 2003. Before her judicial appointment, she served as an Assistant State’s Attorney in Prince George’s County from 1998 to 2002, and held various roles in the County Executive’s office, including Legislative Liaison and Legislative Director.

Judge Anderson has been actively involved in several legal and community organizations, including serving as a Member of the Joint Work Group on Human Trafficking from 2016 to 2018, the Legislative Committee of the Judicial Council from 2016 to 2018, and the Education Subcommittee from 2016 to 2021. She has also been a Member of the Court of Appeals Standing Committee on Rules of Practice and Procedure since 2022 and the Judiciary Strategic Planning Committee since 2023. Her extensive legal experience and dedication to public service make her a respected and influential figure in the Maryland judiciary.
