Hon. Stacy W. McCormack is an associate judge for the Anne Arundel County Circuit Court in Maryland. Appointed by Governor Larry Hogan in 2015, she has a diverse legal background. Before her judicial appointment, she was a solo practitioner in her own private practice in Annapolis. She also practiced as an associate at the Jaklitsch Law Group from 2013 to 2015. Prior to entering private practice, she spent the majority of her legal career as an assistant public defender with the Maryland Office of the Public Defender from 2000 to 2013. During her tenure, she held assignments in the Anne Arundel County Felony Division and served as the supervising attorney of the Appellate Division. Additionally, she taught as an adjunct faculty member at the University of Baltimore School of Law for twelve years.

Judge McCormack received her Bachelor of Arts in Criminology from the University of Maryland in 1993 and her Juris Doctor from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 1996. She has been admitted to practice in Maryland since 1996 and in the District of Columbia since 2014. She has been actively involved in the legal community, serving on the boards of various bar associations and volunteering with organizations such as the Green Hornets Organization and the Annapolis Hawks Lacrosse Club. Her extensive experience and dedication to the legal profession make her a respected figure in the judicial system.
