Hon. Robin Dana Gill Bright, Esq. has been serving as an Associate Judge on the Prince George’s County Circuit Court, 7th Judicial Circuit, since December 12, 2016. She earned her Bachelor of Business Administration (Accounting) from Niagara University and her Master of Arts in Administrative Management, summa cum laude, from Bowie State University in 1992. She then obtained her Juris Doctor from the University of Maryland School of Law in 1998. Before her judicial appointment, she worked as an Assistant State’s Attorney in Prince George’s County from 1998 to 2006, and in Calvert County in 2006. She also served as an Associate County Attorney in the Office of Law, Prince George’s County, from 2008 to 2012.
Judge Bright has been actively involved in several legal and community organizations, including serving as the Chair of the Civil Law Subcommittee of the Legislative Committee, Judicial Council, from 2018 to 2019, and the Chair of the Criminal Law Committee from 2020. She has also been a Member of the Court Operations Committee, Judicial Council, from 2017 to 2018, and the Civil Law and Procedure Committee, Maryland Judicial Conference, from 2012 to 2014. Her extensive legal experience and dedication to public service make her a respected and influential figure in the Maryland judiciary.
