Hon. Myshala E. Middleton has been serving as an Associate Judge on the Baltimore City Circuit Court, 8th Judicial Circuit, since January 13, 2021. Before her judicial appointment, she was the Assistant Chief Counsel at the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement from 2018 to 2021 and an Assistant State’s Attorney in Baltimore City from 2011 to 2016. She also worked as an Assistant Attorney General in the Office of the Attorney General, handling contract litigation and Medicaid fraud control unit cases. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, Judge Middleton earned her Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology from Stony Brook University and her Juris Doctor from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 2010. She has been admitted to the Maryland Bar since 2011 and has been a member of various bar associations, including the Maryland State Bar Association, the Baltimore City Bar Association, and the Monumental City Bar Association.
Judge Middleton has been actively involved in several legal and community organizations, including serving as Circuit Representative for the 8th Judicial Circuit in the Conference of Circuit Judges since 2022. Her extensive legal experience and dedication to public service make her a respected and influential figure in the Maryland judiciary. Judge Middleton’s commitment to justice and her diverse legal background highlight her as a distinguished member of the Baltimore City Circuit Court.
