Hon. Lawrence P. Fletcher-Hill

Hon. Lawrence P. Fletcher-Hill has been serving as an Associate Judge on the Baltimore City Circuit Court, 8th Judicial Circuit, since March 6, 2009. He has held various significant roles, including Judge-in-Charge of the Civil Division since January 1, 2018, and Director of the Business and Technology Case-Management Program since 2020. Prior to his judicial appointment, Judge Fletcher-Hill had a distinguished career as an Assistant Attorney General in the Maryland Office of Attorney General, where he served as Chief of Litigation from 1996 to 2000. He also worked as an Assistant Attorney General in Massachusetts and as an associate at Choate, Hall & Stewart.Judge Fletcher-Hill earned his A.B. in English Language and Literature from Princeton University and his J.D. from Yale Law School. He has been admitted to the Maryland Bar, New York Bar, and Pennsylvania Bar. Throughout his career, he has been actively involved in various legal and community organizations, including the American Bar Association and the Maryland State Bar Association. His extensive legal experience and dedication to public service make him a respected and influential figure in the Maryland judiciary.
