Hon. Julie L. Glass

Hon. Julie L. Glass has been serving as an Associate Judge on the Baltimore County Circuit Court, 3rd Judicial Circuit, since March 18, 2014. Before her judicial appointment, she served as Division Chief, Zone 1, in the Office of the State’s Attorney, Baltimore City, from 2012 to 2014. She was also an Assistant State’s Attorney from 1998 to 2011, and held roles such as Deputy Division Chief and Division Chief of the Firearms Investigation & Violence Enforcement Unit. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminology from the University of Maryland College Park in 1994 and her Juris Doctor from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 1997. She has been admitted to the Maryland Bar since 1997.

Judge Glass has been actively involved in several legal and community organizations, including serving as President of the Women’s Bar Association for Baltimore City, Baltimore County, and Carroll County from 2005 to 2006. She has also been a Member of the Criminal Law Section of the Maryland State Bar Association since 2006, and has held various leadership positions within the association. Her extensive legal experience and dedication to public service make her a respected and influential figure in the Maryland judiciary. Judge Glass’s commitment to justice and her diverse legal background highlight her as a distinguished member of the Baltimore County Circuit Court.
