Hon. Jeannie Eun Kyung Cho, Esq.

Hon. Jeannie Eun Kyung Cho, Esq. has been serving as an Associate Judge on the Montgomery County Circuit Court, 6th Judicial Circuit, since November 15, 2016. She previously served as an Associate Judge on the District Court of Maryland, District 6, from August 24, 2012, to November 15, 2016. Judge Cho was born in Pa Joo, South Korea, in 1966. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of Maryland, College Park, in 1989, and her Juris Doctor from the Loyola University School of Law in 1992. She was admitted to the Maryland Bar in 1993, the District of Columbia Bar in 1994, and the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland in 2005.

Judge Cho has been actively involved in several legal and community organizations, including serving as a Member of the Court Access and Community Relations Committee, Judicial Council, from 2015 to 2016. She has also been a Member of the Public Defender Regional Advisory Board no. 4, Office of Public Defender, since 2009, and a Member of the Charter Review Commission, Montgomery County, from 2011 to 2012. Her extensive legal experience and dedication to public service make her a respected and influential figure in the Maryland judiciary.
