Hon. Donine M. Carrington-Martin has been serving as an Associate Judge on the Charles County Circuit Court, 7th Judicial Circuit, since October 6, 2017. She was born in Brooklyn, New York, in 1970. Judge Carrington-Martin earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Broadcast Journalism from Syracuse University in 1991 and her Juris Doctor from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law at Yeshiva University in 1995. She has held various roles in private practice and public service, including serving as an Assistant State’s Attorney for Montgomery County from 1996 to 1999, for Prince George’s County from 2003 to 2017, and as a Special Prosecutor for Charles County from 2015 to 2017.

Judge Carrington-Martin has been actively involved in several legal and community organizations, including serving as President of the Women’s Bar Association of Maryland from 2017 to present and as a Member of the Maryland State Bar Association since 2015. Her extensive legal experience and dedication to public service make her a respected and influential figure in the Maryland judiciary. Judge Carrington-Martin’s commitment to justice and her diverse legal background highlight her as a distinguished member of the Charles County Circuit Court.
