Hon. Cameron A. Brown has been serving as an Associate Judge on the Cecil County Circuit Court, 2nd Judicial Circuit, since September 30, 2022. He attended Elkton High School in Elkton, Maryland, and earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from Elon College in 2000. He then went on to receive his Juris Doctor with honors from Widener University School of Law in 2010. Before his appointment to the bench, Judge Brown served as an Assistant State’s Attorney for Cecil County and as a Law Clerk to Judges O. Robert Lidums and V. Michael Whalen in the Cecil County Circuit Court. He was admitted to the Maryland Bar in 2010 and has been a partner at Rollins, Murray & Brown from 2016 to 2022.
Judge Brown has been actively involved in several legal and community organizations, including serving as a Member of the Maryland State Bar Association and the Cecil County Bar Association. His extensive legal experience and dedication to public service make him a respected and influential figure in the Maryland judiciary. Judge Brown’s commitment to justice and his diverse legal background highlight him as a distinguished member of the Cecil County Circuit Court.
