Hon. Bibi M. Berry, Esq. has been serving as an Associate Judge on the Montgomery County Circuit Court, 6th Judicial Circuit, since December 27, 2019. She previously served as a Family Magistrate for the Montgomery County Circuit Court from 2017 to 2019. Judge Berry was born in Washington, DC, in 1973. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Howard University in 1995 and her Juris Doctor from the Georgetown University Law Center in 2001. She was admitted to the Maryland Bar in 2001 and the District of Columbia Bar in 2005. Before her judicial appointment, she worked as a legal assistant and law clerk at Arnold and Porter, LLP, and as an associate at Joseph, Greenwald and Laake, and Paley Rothman.
Judge Berry has been actively involved in several legal and community organizations, including serving as a Member of the Education Committee of the Judicial Council (co-chair of the judicial education subcommittee since 2022), the Montgomery County Bar Association (executive committee from 2009 to 2011, secretary from 2016 to 2017), the Montgomery County Women’s Bar Association, and the J. Franklyn Bourne Bar Association. Her extensive legal experience and dedication to public service make her a respected and influential figure in the Maryland judiciary.

AWFUL & UNETHICAL. Judge Berry is the definition of Corruption. Heck, check out when she was running for her Judgemenship she made false accusations against her opponent just to secure her win in the Circuit Court. Google: Judge Berry & Marylin Pierre. But more directly involving me, my lawyer (former Judge) reasonably requested Judge Berry recusal based on her verbal bias against me and conflict of interest that we knew would cause her to intentionally make errors in my child support calculations to harm me intentionally. Well, Judge Berry denied the recusal motion and presided over my child support hearing. During the child support hearing her Anger was greatly shown, she acted as my ex-spouse attorney; giving her legal advice, denied my paystubs – imputed my income to 3x higher, never explained how she was calculating income and expenses. Moreover, at the end of the hearing, we asked if we could see the calculations /guidelines, she refused and concluded the hearing. Ultimately, she erred in my child support award to favor my ex-spouse (mother). I appealed to the Appellate Court and after two years they VACATED her child support order specifically stating “We don’t know where the trial judge got the numbers used”. Again, Judge Berry is Corrupt, Awful and Unethical as she does not comply with Judicial Ethics and has the appropriate and proper temperament to decide cases. She must be impeached!
