Hon. Audrey J. S. Carrion is an associate judge for the Baltimore City Circuit Court in Maryland. Appointed as an associate judge on November 10, 1999, she has held various significant roles, including Circuit Administrative Judge and Chief Judge of the Baltimore City Circuit Court. Carrion has been actively involved in the legal community, serving on numerous committees and boards, such as the Maryland Judicial Conference’s Public Awareness Committee and the Council on Management and Productivity. She has also been a member of the State Advisory Board for Juvenile Services and the Court Interpretation and Translation Services Committee.

Before her judicial appointment, Carrion served as an Assistant Attorney General in the Maryland Attorney General’s Office and worked in the Correctional Litigation Unit. She has a strong educational background, with a Bachelor of Arts from the College of Notre Dame of Maryland and a Juris Doctor from the University of Baltimore School of Law. Carrion is known for her dedication to justice and her efforts to improve access to the legal system for all individuals. She served as the Judge in Charge of the Family Division – Domestic from 2003 until 2009, highlighting her significant involvement in family court matters.
