Hon. Andrew S. Rappaport has been serving as an Associate Judge on the Calvert County Circuit Court, 7th Judicial Circuit, since November 8, 2019. Born in Worcester, Massachusetts, he earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Elon University in 2000 and his Juris Doctor from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 2003. He has held various roles in private practice and public service, including serving as the State’s Attorney for Calvert County from January 7, 2019, to November 8, 2019, and as the Chief of the District Court Division in the Office of the State’s Attorney for Calvert County from 2013 to 2018. Judge Rappaport has been actively involved in several legal and community organizations, including serving as a Member of the Drug and Alcohol Abuse Council and the Executive Committee of the Child Advocacy Center in Calvert County.
Judge Rappaport has also been involved in various community initiatives, such as serving as Co-Captain of the Calvert County Relay for Life and Co-Captain of the DARE program. His extensive legal experience and dedication to public service make him a respected and influential figure in the Maryland judiciary. Judge Rappaport’s commitment to justice and his diverse legal background highlight him as a distinguished member of the Calvert County Circuit Court.
