Hon. Paul B. Eason, Esq. has been serving as a Family Magistrate on the Prince George’s County Circuit Court, 7th Judicial Circuit, since October 2007. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Government from Georgetown University in 1979 and his Juris Doctor from the Antioch/Potomac School of Law in 1982. Before his judicial appointment, he worked in private practice and received the Solo Practitioner Pro Bono Award from Community Legal Services in 1987 and 2005. Judge Eason is admitted to practice in both Maryland (1985) and the District of Columbia (1983).
Judge Eason has been actively involved in several legal and community organizations, including the Maryland State Bar Association, the Prince George’s County Bar Association, and the District of Columbia Bar Association. He has also been involved with Project ECHO, which focuses on improving access to healthcare through technology. His dedication to public service and legal excellence has made him a respected and influential figure in the Maryland judiciary.
