Hon. Donnell W. Turner, Esq. has been serving as an Associate Judge on the Prince George’s County Circuit Court, 7th Judicial Circuit, since September 26, 2022. He was born in Prince George’s County, Maryland, and attended Prince George’s County public schools, including Parkdale High School in Riverdale, Maryland. Judge Turner earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of Maryland, College Park, and his Juris Doctor from the University of Virginia School of Law in 1993. Before his judicial appointment, he held various roles, including Inspector General for the Prince George’s County Police Department, Director of the Office of Integrity, Compliance, and Police Accountability, Deputy State’s Attorney, and Assistant U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia.

Judge Turner has been actively involved in several legal and community organizations, including serving as a Member of the Court Access and Community Relations Committee and the Equal Justice Committee of the Judicial Council. He has also been a Member of the Maryland State Bar Association and the Prince George’s County Bar Association. His extensive legal experience and dedication to public service make him a respected and influential figure in the Maryland judiciary.
