Hon. Harry C. Storm, Esq. has been serving as an Associate Judge on the Montgomery County Circuit Court, 6th Judicial Circuit, since January 8, 2016. He was born in Frostburg, Maryland, in 1954. Judge Storm earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Government and Politics from the University of Maryland College Park in 1976, and his Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 1979. He was admitted to the Maryland Bar in 1979, the District of Columbia Bar in 1981, and the U.S. Supreme Court in 1983. Before his judicial appointment, he served as an Assistant State’s Attorney in Montgomery County from 1980 to 1982. He also worked as an associate at Melnicove, Kaufman & Weiner, P.A., Shulman, Rogers, Gandal, Tobin & Ecker, P.A., and Levitan, Ezrin, West & Kerxton, Chtd., before becoming a principal at Abrams, West & Storm in 1984.

Judge Storm has been actively involved in several legal and community organizations, including serving as the President of the Maryland State Bar Association in 2016. He has held various leadership positions, such as Chair of the Civil Law Subcommittee of the Legislative Committee of the Judicial Council since 2019, and Member of the Trial Courts Judicial Nominating Commission in Montgomery County from 1990 to 1994. He has also been a Member of the Attorney Grievance Review Board of the Attorney Grievance Commission, serving as its chair in 1998. His extensive legal experience and dedication to public service make him a respected and influential figure in the Maryland judiciary.
