Hon. C. Lynn Knight, Esq.

Hon. C. Lynn Knight, Esq. has been serving as the County Administrative Judge on the Queen Anne’s County Circuit Court, 2nd Judicial Circuit, since January 15, 2020. Born in Queen Anne’s County, Maryland, Judge Knight earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Washington College in 1988 and her Juris Doctor from Widener University School of Law in 1999. Before her judicial appointment, she worked as an associate attorney at Foster, Braden, Thompson, & Palmer, and later established her own practice, the Law Offices of Lynn Knight, which she ran from 2002 to 2020.

Judge Knight has been actively involved in various legal and community organizations, including serving as President of the Queen Anne’s County Bar Association from 2007 to 2009, and as Executive Director of the Mid-Shore Council on Family Violence from 1988 to 2000. She has also been a Member of the Maryland State Bar Association, the Kent County Bar Association, and the Queen Anne’s County Bar Association. Her dedication to public service and legal excellence has made her a respected and influential figure in the Maryland judiciary.
