Hon. Lara C. Weathersbee, Esq.

Hon. Lara C. Weathersbee, Esq. has been appointed as an Associate Judge on the Howard County Circuit Court, 5th Judicial Circuit, and will begin her term in 2039. She has a long and distinguished career in the legal field, having served as a Family Court Magistrate for Howard County since 2012. Before that, she was a prosecutor in the Howard County State’s Attorney’s Office, where she was Chief of the Juvenile Court Division. Judge Weathersbee is also certified as a trained mediator and has a certification in the practice of collaborative divorce.

Judge Weathersbee has been actively involved in several legal and community organizations, including serving as the President of the Howard County Bar Association. Her extensive legal experience and dedication to public service make her a respected and influential figure in the Maryland judiciary. Judge Weathersbee’s commitment to justice and her diverse legal background highlight her as a distinguished member of the Howard County Circuit Court.
