Hon. Theodore M. Hart, Esq.

Hon. Theodore M. Hart, Esq. has been serving as a Family Magistrate for the Harford County Circuit Court, 3rd Judicial Circuit, since December 3, 2018. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Maryland in 1976 and his Juris Doctor from the University of Maryland School of Law in 1978. Before his appointment as a magistrate, he served as a Master in Chancery for the Harford County Circuit Court since 1984. Judge Hart has built a reputation for his dedication to family law and his commitment to ensuring fair and just outcomes in family court cases.

Judge Hart has been actively involved in several legal and community organizations, including serving as the Coordinator for the Family Recovery Court and as a Member of the Children’s Justice Act Committee.
