Hon. Carin E. Golze, Esq.

Hon. Carin E. Golze, Esq. has been serving as a Family Magistrate for the Frederick County Circuit Court, 6th Judicial Circuit, since December 2, 2016. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Washington College in 2009 and her Juris Doctor from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 2013. Before her appointment as a magistrate, she worked as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Judge William R. Nicklas in the Circuit Court for Frederick County and as a student attorney in the Office of the Public Defender. She has built a reputation for advocating for both fathers and mothers in family law, divorce, and custody cases.

Judge Golze has been actively involved in several legal and community organizations, including serving as the President of the Family Law Section of the Bar Association of Frederick County since 2020 and as the Vice President of the Board of Directors for the Frederick County Mental Health Association. Her dedication to public service and extensive legal experience make her a respected and influential figure in the Maryland judiciary. Judge Golze’s commitment to justice and her diverse legal background highlight her as a distinguished member of the Frederick County Circuit Court.
