Hon. Douglas Craig Cooley, Esq.

Hon. Douglas Craig Cooley, Esq. has been serving as a Family Magistrate for the Charles County Circuit Court, 7th Judicial Circuit, since April 19, 2010. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Communications and Media Studies from the University of Louisville in 2002 and his Juris Doctor from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 2005. He was admitted to the Maryland Bar in 2005 and has been actively involved in family law litigation. Before his appointment as a magistrate, he worked as an associate at Hochberg Costello & Baron and the Law Offices of Sally B. Gold.

Judge Cooley has been actively involved in several legal and community organizations, including serving as Secretary and Treasurer of the Women’s Bar Association of Baltimore City. His extensive legal experience and dedication to public service make him a respected and influential figure in the Maryland judiciary. Judge Cooley’s commitment to justice and his diverse legal background highlight him as a distinguished member of the Charles County Circuit Court.
