Hon. Garret P. Glennon, Jr

Hon. Garret P. Glennon, Jr. has been serving as an Associate Judge on the Baltimore County Circuit Court, 3rd Judicial Circuit, since October 26, 2021. Before his judicial appointment, he was an Assistant State’s Attorney in Baltimore County from 1997 to 2021, serving as Chief of the Circuit Court Division from 2009 to 2021. Born in New York, New York, in 1971, Judge Glennon earned his Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, from the University of Arizona in 1993 and his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 1996. He has been admitted to the Maryland Bar since 1996 and has held various roles in private practice and public service, including serving as a law clerk to Judge Christian M. Kahl, Baltimore County Circuit Court, from 1996 to 1997.

Judge Glennon has been actively involved in several legal and community organizations, including serving as a Member of the Maryland State Bar Association and the Baltimore County Bar Association. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers and a Member and Eucharistic Minister at the Church of the Nativity in Timonium, Maryland. His extensive legal experience and dedication to public service make him a respected and influential figure in the Maryland judiciary.
