Hon. Kimberly Charon McBride has been serving as an Associate Judge on the Baltimore City Circuit Court, 8th Judicial Circuit, since January 9, 2024. Before her judicial appointment, she served as a United States Immigration Judge through the U.S. Department of Justice Executive Office for Immigration Review. Prior to that, she worked as a family magistrate for the Circuit Court for Baltimore City for 13 years, handling the juvenile docket. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, Judge McBride earned her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Baltimore School of Law and her Juris Doctor from the University of Baltimore School of Law. She has been admitted to the Maryland Bar since 1993 and has been a member of various bar associations, including the American Bar Association, the Baltimore City Bar Association, and the Maryland State Bar Association.Judge McBride has also contributed to the legal community as an adjunct faculty member at the University of Baltimore School of Law. Her extensive experience in family law, juvenile causes, and immigration law makes her a respected and influential figure in the Maryland judiciary1.
