Hon. Mark K. Boyer

Hon. Judge Mark K. Boyer has been serving as an Associate Judge for the Washington County Circuit Court since November 18, 2016. Before his appointment to the bench, Judge Boyer had a distinguished career as an Assistant State’s Attorney for Washington County from 1999 to 2014. He also served as a partner at the law firm Salvatore & Boyer LLC, where he focused on criminal and civil law, as well as representing municipal corporations in the area. Judge Boyer is known for his calm demeanor, hard working ethic, and dedication to the community. 

Judge Boyer took over the position from Judge Donald E. Beachley, who was elevated to the Maryland Court of Special Appeals. Judge Beachley had a long tenure on the bench and was well-regarded for his contributions to the legal community in Washington County.
